A Note to Our Readers...
The much anticipated print version of The Grove Observer which was to be launched next week will not happen. We sincerely regret this, as the print version would have been an outstanding example of journalism and graphics and something this part of Oklahoma would have been proud of.
Management issues and ownership of the name are to blame.
Hopefully the print version will see its way to the public in the future.
In the meantime, the blog will continue on a weekly basis, with breaking news posted as it happens.

I hate to tell you what a disappointment this is for the community and I am sure the staff of the "unissued" Observer. This town deserves a good source of news. I hope that the "issues" between the Observer and the current Grove paper were not to blame.
There were several issues, but none involved the Grove Sun Daily.

I am calling BS on that. I know the people involved and I think that it is upsetting for the "observer" staff, as well as embarrassing, and that whoever it is that made the decision or caused the "observer" not to be published is selfish and need to make it up to the employees. The other Grove "paper" caused a huge stink and the selfishness got in the way of what was right for the Grove area and "Observer" staff.
I think that the best thing we as supporters of the Grove Observer can do is to pray for the editor and staff. God will find a way.
