The Canine Corner...by Missy MacTavish

It's time to make out my Christmas List for my fine human friends so here's what I have so far:
For the Grove Police Department: An animal tranquilizer gun so they don't have to run over dogs with their police cars.
For the City Manager: A suit of armor complete with sword.
For the City Council: A crystal ball to see into Grove's future to plan accordingly, and a helping of Harmony.
For Northeast Oklahoma: Rain. We are behind nearly 34 inches for the past six years, according to the weatherman.
For the GRDA: Money for a silt study, and sandblasting the back of the Pensacola Dam for a like-new appearance.
For the Boo Birds: These are residents who lurk in the shadows, sit on the fence and never contribute anything positive to the community…may they fall off their fence.
For the Grove Humane Society: A sizable donation to help care for my canine friends.
And of course, my own wishes to all the humans out there for a very Merry Christmas!
Until next time, may all your relatives come visit you...Miss Missy.
